While you can get your Starbucks coffee at, well, Starbucks, Maui has other options that you may want to try out. Given that Hawaii is the home of the Kona coffee[a], about which Mark Twain wrote "Kona Coffee has a richer flavor than any other, be it grown where it may and call it by what name you please", it is no surprise that you can find local coffeeshops.
The Bad Ass Coffee Company[b] is one of them. Located across the street and a block down from my hotel in the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center mall, they offer excellent coffee and free wifi access with no contracts, no logins, no nothing.
