Freedom Trail
Updated:
Awake your inner Yank in Boston by following the Freedom Trail[a] through Boston. Wikipedia[b] has a list of sites along the trail.
The Freedom Trail is a trail marked by a red line on the pavement that link places of historical significance throughout Boston. It is about one hour of start-to-finish walking, but you'll spend about three or four taking in all the sights and reading the plaques.
While going through the trail, it becomes apparent just how fragile the forces of the American Revolution were, and one can't help but marvel that it succeeded at all.
