Maui's Winery

Maui's Winery is known by many names. On the bottles you'll see "Maui's Winery", but on the map you will see "Ulupalakua Ranch" and you may read about the "Tedeschi Vineyards".

Either way, the winery is located on the southwest end of the east side of Maui, just off highway 37, and also located in cyberspace at www.mauiwine.com[a].

They offer complimentary wine tasting just for you showing up there - you get to taste four wines for $0. I recommend that two of those should be Framboise de Maui Raspberry Wine[b] and the Maui Splash[c], which is a pineapple and passion fruit wine.

The "King House", now used for wine tasting. The building got the name from the fact that it was built in all haste after the ranch owners had invited the king of Hawaii, and then realized that the king would have nowhere to stay when he arrived.
