Masmo Mountain
The big hill that dominates Masmo was originally supposed to be the site of a residential area. For that purpose, an entrance shaft to the subway station was blasted through the rock from the top of the hill. When the plans for the residential area were scrapped, so were the plans for the subway station entrance - but the shaft had already been dug out.

The shaft - blasted at an angle to fit escalators. A little bit away is the vertical elevator shaft.
