Port Vell

Port Vell[a] (Catalan for "Old Harbor") is an area that has been used for shipping since the 4th century BC. The current harbor was built in 1992 as part of an urban renewal program in preparation for the Barcelona Olympics that year. Much like Tel Aviv Harbor, it has gone from a dilapidated mess to a center of entertainment and nightlife.
