Sitges

Sitges is a small, artsy town to the west of Barcelona that is a popular destination for lesbian and gay travellers. According to Wikipedia, "[a]lmost 35% of the approximately 26,000 permanent inhabitants are from the Netherlands, Great Britain, France and Scandinavia, whose children attend international schools in the area."[1]

The town got its reputation when Santiago Rusiñol[b] put his summer residence there.
