Redwood National and State Parks
Updated:
Redwood National and State Parks[a] (Wikipedia link[b]) lies a handful of miles north of Eureka in California. It is one of the last places on Earth where the giant redwood trees can enjoy a mild and moist climate that was the norm for the planet about 200 million years ago, when redwood forests covered huge areas all over North America.
The Redwood Coast's flora and fauna are also recognized as being ecologically unique.
