Highway 299 from Arcata to Redding

The Pacific Coast Highway or Highway 1 lies along the pacific coast and provides spectacular views of the jagged pacific coastlines. It is the road to take if you like the ocean, and the sunsets will be absolutely breathtaking. I would say that highway 299, going from Arcata to Redding, is the corresponding highway if you like mountains.
