An abandoned shrine near the St James Footsteps Church[a] where the via crucis[b] procession would pass. The procession would be carried out by the friars of the convent of San Diego (St James), from which the street got its name, Calle Pasos de Santiago. In the 17th century this via crucis would link the parish church of San Miguel with the convent of San Diego and would include other temples and shrines, but today only this shrine remains.
