Florida Caverns

The Florida Caverns is one of the top-rated national parks in Florida, so when I was driving up toward New Orleans from Miami, I figured I should stop by for a visit. The big problem: there are only so many tickets to the cavern tours released each day, and when they sell out, they sell out. I rolled up to the ranger hut by the entrance, only to be told that the last tickets just went. Not wanting to turn around, I settled for some above-ground exploration of the area.
