Approaching Mobile

Going on the I-10, Alabama rushes past in very little time. I wanted something from that state, though, and while driving on the bridges leading to Mobile, I thought I had my shot - the Mobile skyline, seen across the water against a cloudy, almost featureless sky. I exited the I-10 and started looking around for a place to capture the photo. No such luck, however. I found myself with no good angle to the downtown area. What I found was this jetty, and on the other side - a battleship.
