Third Hike

The third and final hike.
This being the final hike, I figured that there was no need to conserve battery at all. I started up the GPS and was surprised to find that not only did it get a good fix, it held the fix - and the last little battery indicator dot hung on for much longer than I had expected. The camera also held out for much longer than I thought was possible, but just as the sun set the shutter locked and no amount of rest could make the battery bounce back for a last shot.
