Some bad Google Maps routes have a silver lining. When driving to Kavarna Google Maps selected road 2902 followed by road 902; apparently not knowing that road 902 was basically torn up due to road work.
While driving slowly and desperately trying to not smash up the rental car too much I had plenty of time to curse every Maps developer - past, present, and future, unto seven generations - for not making the routing algorithm choose road 9 and E87 along the coast instead. But now that I see the result of the photos I took when stopping at a sunflower field at the start of the road I'm starting to think that Maps did in fact lead me right and I just didn't appreaciate it at the time.
I take back all the curses.
