Fulufjället National Park

A hike through Fulufjället national park[a] up to Sweden's tallest waterfall - Njupeskär[b]. The national park consists of the high plateau of Fulufjället, over which a number of streams flow that have eroded their way through the sandstone cliffs and formed canyons before joining with Dalälven and flowing into the Baltic Sea.

The environment is largely bare rock covered in lichens, and dense old-growth forest in the canyons. Due to the absence of grazing reindeer the mix of flora is unique in the Scandinavian mountains.
