Falcostiege in Spring
Since the Falcostiege isn't getting any bigger, I just have to write more about it! Last time I was here the weather was deplorable. But with spring and sunshine here, I decided to grab this opportunity to show Falcostiege at its best.
I'm not alone in my quest to better honor Falco. While I've gone down the route of attempting to portray the Falcostiege in Vienna in as good a light as possible, the fine people at (the surprisingly similarly named) monochrom.at[a] have gone the opposite way: If the Falcostiege can't be made to look good enough, and we can't change it, well, then we need a different Falcostiege! To that end, they have created a Do-It-Yourself Falcostiege[b]. Simply slap the memorial plaque on any existing staircase, photograph it, and you have an instant memorial to Austria's greatest international star.
