This is what it looks like when a flight is cancelled. A long line of people waiting in line to get a queue number.
Shortly after these photos were taken they switched to another queue, making the people who had previously congratulated themselves on being first in line quite upset.
There was no information given - I found the queue by chance after seeing that the flight was cancelled.
As it were, it would take on average half an hour to rebook each travelling party, and I would stand in line seven hours. The long time was caused by the airline personnel having to manually do some kind of airline route search, like on Expedia, but manually, and for multiple passengers.
I found it quite shocking that they didn't have a tool to quickly rebook passengers in the event of a cancelled flight.
