Alt-Erlaa
Updated:
Among the things to see in the 23rd district of Vienna[a] is the Wohnpark Alt-Erlaa (roughly: Residential Park Old-Erlaa). As the name implies, it is built on ground that used to be called Erlaa, and then, as the town grew, became Old Erlaa.
The houses have swimmingpools on top, and are equipped with saunas, communal rooms, etc. The whole complex was built between 1973 and 1985 and is considered a textbook example of residential planning in 1960's Austria. More about these buildings can be found, auf Deutsch, on Wikipedia[b], Alterlaa.net, its own website[c] and Architekturzentrum Wien[d].
