I went and bought myself a Sigma 55-200mm HSM[a] so I could switch from crazy wide angles to crazy narrow angles. This is an unedited center crop. The location of the first moon landing is unfortinately not visible, as it is 31.4 degrees east (Moon coordinates) and therefore in the lunar nighttime hemisphere. The landing site of Apollo 12 is in the lunar day, though, although the lander is of course much, much too small to be seen.
