Portobello Road
Updated:
London has areas with varying levels of expensiveness - and Notting Hill is one of the more expensive ones. Through that area goes Portobello Road[a], which got its name from a song celebrating a British victory at Puerto Bello, New Grenada (now Panama).
Portobello Road is also the site of Portobello Road Market, a giant second-hand and antiques market stretching along several hundred meters of the road. (Although I bet you can find all the items there for half price at a deparment store or shopping mall.)
