Biking to Vienna

How to shrink-wrap (sorta) a bike for air transport, a guide for the rest of us:

Remove pedals.

Unfasten the handle bar and rotate it 90 degrees.

Put pedals and tools for re-assembly in bag, tape bag to frame.
-
Envelop the bike in two huge plastic bags made for strollers. Remember that nobody's going to award you points for style.
