The "Sierra" Fire in Orange County
Updated:
California is Burning Up[a] shouted the headline in Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. But while the Sierra Wildland Fire[b] sure makes "toast" an option for those who can't decide what they want to be when they grow up, it covers a fairly miniscule area of an already quite small county in California.
I found out about the fire by walking out in the parking lot and seeing the picture on the left.
The two other pictures are taken from the intersection of Fwy 405 and Irvine Center Drive, about a kilometer from Interchange's offices, and from just inland of Laguna Beach, looking northeast toward the fire.
