When it was time to create a live show with Nifelheim, the Gustafsson brothers called for artifacts that would make people feel uncomfortable. When an acquaintance in Uddevalla offered them the a baby's casket, they were very pleased. "A tiny casket is much more unpleasant than a regular one, plus it's easier to ship to gigs. A so-called win-win", says bassist Erik "Tyrant" Gustafsson. The casket has been on stage at almost every Nifelheim gig since the early 00s. All kinds of things have been stored in it over the years, mainly raw meat that has been thrown at the audience.
