Hafla Layali, November 2012
A "hafla" - which is Arabic for "party" - has taken on the meaning of a simpler dance show in the bellydancing community. Both beginners and advanced dancers are welcome to perform in a friendly and encouraging context. This show was at the Layali Oriental Dance Academy[a] in Stockholm, and was my first time shooting video in anger with my new Nikon D3200.
