El Gat del Raval
A cat statue by Fernando Botero. The cat started its life in 1987 in Parc de la Ciutadella, but was moved to the Olympic stadium in 1992. From there it was placed in Plaça de Blanquerna where it remained until finally moved to its current place at the south end of Rambla del Raval. Lluís-Anton Baulenas has written a nice account of the cat's life so far in Story of a Fat Cat.
