I was a thousand miles away when I heard that Casa Amico had opened, but as soon as I got within range I went for a visit. I was not disappointed. This is a bigger and better Hos Frank. It has the laid-back atmosphere, reasonable prices, great service, and healthy and tasty food that is served quickly. But it's about twice the size as far as seating is concerned, and the menu is more than twice as big, with pizzas, gelato, and now salads as well.
The world is right again.
Casa Amico is well worth a detour if you are in Stockholm. It's about 25 minutes by bike from Central Station, and in the summer evenings the patio is like a quiet Mediterranean square, with amber sunlight and no traffic to speak of on the nearby road.
