When the Beer Gods close a tap they open a bottle. I was pretty bummed that Grasshopper had closed, but a Google search revealed that there was another pub just a short walk away. We went there and what do you know - Gabrovo may not be big, but it's big enough to have a craft beer shop. And it's a jewel.

Beer Arrow on Google Maps
It's a jewel. A small craft beer shop with a large selection, great service, and friendly owner. (5/5)
Beer Arrow, like Grasshopper, is a small pub. Get five people (six counting the bartender) in there and it's pretty much full and people spill out to the little square outside. Traffic in the old town is minimal, so it's perfectly possible to sit there and calmly enjoy your beer.
The selection is fairly wide. You can get everything from stout, to pilsner, to IPA, to weissbier, to fruity beer. There are always six beers on tap, mostly IPAs. You'd have to work pretty hard to not find something to your liking; and if you're just indecisive the friendly owner will be happy to help you out.
All in all a really nice place to go to, to hang out with friends, or just to order up a beer and wind down on your own.
