There are also dishes for those who don't want to just load up on sweets and sugars: hash browns, mini pizzas, sausage, beans and a solid omelet are enough to turn the brunch into a "brunner", or whatever you'd call a combined breakfast-lunch-dinner one-stop-shop of meals.
The service is great - quick, professional and friendly.
Finally, The Cheesecake Palace has a unique selling proposition that puts it above and beyond any inner-city brunch café: there's rarely any wait. You get there, pay, then you just have at it immediately. This is not to say that it isn't popular - it is - but you don't suffer from it, despite being popular with local families. There's plenty of seating, which is a testament to the efficient use of the premises.
