The Road to Perušić

Without sounding like an old geezer going about how things were "when I was your age", this was the road the kids in Kvarte walked to school every day. It was uphill, both ways.

This is a memorial to the Civil War that raged in the 1990's. Perušić, being right on the border to the Serbian Krajina, was repeatedly shelled.
