Blekholmsterassen
Blekholmsterassen is a fairly new housing development in central Stockholm. It is quite a strange place - as you can see in the photo, it is a tranquil little canal - Klara Sjö - with buildings on either side. But the left hand side is build right on top of one of the heaviest trafficked roads in Stockholm. It is also a place with two spots that have very bad air - where the road dives into the tunnel at the nortwestern end of the area, and exits at the southeastern, all of the pollutants emitted by the cars in the tunnel boil out.
Despite this, Blekholmsterassen itself is a little oasis. I wouldn't want to live in the two houses on either end of it, though, as they are hardest hit by the pollution. It is so bad that if you look at their facades, you'll see they are noticeably darker than the others.
