Whereupon I arrive in the eternal city.
All roads may lead to Rome, but no cheap direct flights did, so I had to get up at 5am, take a 7am flight to Vienna and then a 11am flight to Rome's Fiumicino airport. But from there on, the only express train did go to the city of Rome.
