In order to provide a cool way to view big photos, I've created Bigshot[a], a Javascript library to display zoomable images. The project is hosted over at Google Code, which is a first for me. I thought it'd be interesting to try it out. Right now the project is in its infancy, though, so be forgiving if you try to use it. (Yes, I will clean up the code.)
Here's a sample zoomable image of Perušić, taken from Turska Kula[b]. Zoom using the controls on top or the mouse wheel, drag to pan, double-click to center:
